Xoliswa Daku

Xoliswa is the founder and CEO of the Daku Group of Companies which focuses on property development, investments, acquisitions, law, facilities, and property management.

Her vision is to ensure people have state-of-the-art spaces to live, work and play. Her forte is a mixed-use development precinct and is currently busy with historic and iconic developments, both locally backed by international investments. These developments are based in megacities of South Africa such as Cape Town and Johannesburg but do not leave out small towns in Eastern Cape and KwaZulu-Natal.

Xoliswa is a law, EMBA fundi and MCom in project management with a 20-year passion for empowering women and advancing the social transformation agenda across sectors. Her Daku Group Academy currently ensures that all young women in business gain both practical and theoretical knowledge in business to reduce business failures and sustain jobs created.

Xoliswa started her career as a legal practitioner, following this she joined the Dept of Justice, before becoming Head of Local and International Investment of Trade Promotion for the Western Cape Investment and Trade Promotion Agency (WESGRO). Her skills repertoire includes property development and management, sector development Foreign Direct Investment as well as BEE, SMME development.
